Darren “Wrighty” Butler held off a spirited Sarwar Alam to claim his maiden WLGS event with a superb 36 point win at a baking hot Merrist Wood golf club.
In the ladies section, Madge Henry made it a debut to remember as she romped to victory with a 27 point return.
Captain Kristina was nearest to the pin whilst in the mens, Nash was closest. Second-placed Sarwar took the mens longest drive award.
