Bakthier Hussein (mens) and Betty Yao (ladies) clinched victory in WLGS's Marrakech reunion event at sun-drenched East Sussex National.
Welsh hotshot Bakthier played steadily on day one, carding 34 points on the West Course before a stunning return of 39 on the longer East on day two saw him squeeze past Darren "Wrighty" Butler by a solitary point.
Wrighty played an exemplary round on Sunday, crushing his driver to hit almost every fairway, and sinking two birdies, including a simply remarkable 35-footer on the par 4 9th.
The Ladies section saw a similarly tight competition, with Betty Yao pipping Margaret Palmer to first place on day two.
A total of 24 players made the trip south to the Sussex countryside, making it a huge success for the society. Huge gratitude from all involved goes to Chairman Don MacKenzie for his hard work and excellent organisation of the event. Thanks Don!
