How do I become a member of West London Golf Society?

Simply fill out our Membership Form and let us do the rest!

How do I enter competitions?

To enter competitions, please visit our Upcoming Events section.Simply RSVP to the relevant event and we will add you. Alternatively, contact a member of the Committee and we will make sure you are included!

What is the average competition fee?

Competition fees usually range from £30-£40. We usually get breakfast included also, but this isn't guaranteed for every event.

Where do West London Golf Society play?

West London Golf Society play all across West London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and surrounding areas.

In addition to this, we also organise overnight trips to some of the best courses in the United Kingdom and annually organise an overseas trip, which is open to all members.

No! Golf is expensive, we get that! So WLGS are committed to making our events as accessible as possible. Members can pick and choose which events they wish to play and simply pay a single fee for that day.

We do not require you to have an official handicap.

If you have an official handicap (World Handicap System) as verified by England Golf or equivalent body, then we will allow you to use this provided it is verified by the society captain.

If you do not have a handicap, that's fine! We simply ask that you enter one of our competitions to obtain your society handicap.

How do I cancel if I can no longer make a competition I have already booked?

If you have booked onto a competition and can no longer make the event, simply contact us and we will remove you from the event and refund you (provided it isn't really late notice!)
